The psychotherapist and mystic Ellen Goldberg, known as the Wise Therapist, explains how palmistry can predict love and marriage by examining two important lines on the hand.

The first line, located on the Mount of Venus beneath the thumb, indicates when one can expect love and marriage. “The influence line near the Mount of Venus is more precise for determining exactly when in life one can expect love and affection,” explains Goldberg. The second line, the heart line or “affection lines,” is located on the Mount of Mercury, beneath the pinky finger.

Goldberg explains that a long and single line indicates “a deep and true love for life.” The closer the love line is to the life line, the more intimate the relationship.
