Actress Hunter Schafer, who is proud to be transgender, has publicly stated that she has been personally impacted by a move made by the new administration.

In her social media posts, the Euphoria star revealed unexpected modifications to her passport. In order to conceal personal information that the public was not previously aware of, she taped up her passport.

She advised everyone to concentrate on the passport holder’s sex-related category. Her gender was formerly marked as “F,” but now it is spelled with a “M.”

The actress revealed that when she was abroad filming, her passport was among the items taken. She was only able to obtain a new passport after being given a temporary one.

She discovered, however, that she had been classified as “male” in her sex when she received her new passport.

She states in the video, “I want to acknowledge my privilege, not only as a white, slender, celebrity transwoman who can conform to modern beauty standards and I can participate in all of that, and I pass, and it still happened.”

She said, “I think the agencies that were interested in passports are now required to cross reference birth certificates because I never had my birth certificate changed.”

She told her audience, “I don’t know exactly what, or what changed in terms of the processing goes.”

She disclosed that for more than ten years, her “gender marker” has been altered on official records. She claimed that this is the first time the administration has not acknowledged it. Although everything had been altered, she said that nothing had changed for her.

Additionally, she informed her audience, “I don’t give a f–ck that they put a M on my passport.” “It makes life a little harder, but it doesn’t really change anything about me or my transness,” she stated.

Schafer expressed her concerns, saying, “I haven’t tested it out yet; I’ll find out next week when I have to travel overseas with my passport, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to come along with having to do that whole thing much more frequently than I would like to or is really necessary.”

However, she was concerned that other trans women would experience comparable situations without having the same advantages as a well-known actor.

“Trans people are beautiful,” she replied, reaffirming her opinions. A passport letter cannot alter the fact that we will always exist and that I will always be transgender.

“I don’t really know how to handle this, but I thought it was vital to communicate. This is true. So, sure, f–ck,” she said in closing.

People were angry at her as much as for her. “Your passport should list your sex, not what you pretend to be,” one commenter stated.

Someone else wrote angrily, “That’s strange. Is it because you’re a male, perhaps? You have no right to impose your illusion on everyone. This culture is disappointing.

However, a lot of people stood up for Hunter Schafer. “Why are y’all so bothered by how someone chooses to identify?” someone wrote. Ignorant AF pretending that it hurts your body or whatever.

“There is so much ignorance and hatred about how other people choose to live,” said another. In actuality, it has absolutely no impact on your life. You folks seem like the true snowflakes in this place.

“My heart goes out to all trans people,” said another. This modification is useless. No matter what, transgender persons will always be visible in this world.

“I don’t understand why people care so much about another person’s gender. How does that affect your daily life?” was one user’s encouraging comment. We support and love you, Hunter.

Since taking office last month, President Trump has issued four executive orders addressing transgende  individuals. According to him, the government will only acknowledge male and female as the two sexes going forward. “Sexes are not changeable,” according to the orders.

For people under 19, another order limited access to “gender-affirming care,” which includes both hormonal and surgical treatment.
