Strange black pellets in the garden: what they were and how I dealt with the problem

Recently, I noticed strange black pellets in my garden. At first, I didn’t know what they could be, but after talking to my neighbor, it turned out that he had encountered them as well. He suspected that they might be tick egg clusters.

I decided to act carefully: I put on gloves, collected them, and properly disposed of them to prevent their spread. Then I sprayed the area with an alcohol solution.

Ticks are small insects that can pose a threat to humans and animals. They most often appear in the summer, especially in green areas. Their bites can be unpleasant and sometimes even dangerous, so it’s important to take preventive measures.

Once, after a walk in the park, we had to remove a tick from my dog. We carefully pulled it out with tweezers, and the bite area was disinfected. In such cases, it’s best to consult a veterinarian or specialist.

Since then, I’ve been taking better care of the garden: I mow the lawn regularly, check my pets after walks, and use tick repellents.

If you notice something unusual on your property, it’s better to consult professionals. Prevention helps to take care of health and comfort in the garden or on the plot.
