The man noticed them too late. Four poachers were already nearby. They were moving through dense vegetation, talking loudly and not hiding their weapons. He stepped toward them and tried to stop them.
— You have no right to hunt here. This is a protected area, — he said, trying to remain calm.
They exchanged glances, then burst out laughing as if they had heard something amusing. One of them stepped forward, looking at him mockingly.
— And who is going to stop us? You? — he replied coldly.
In the next second, everything went wrong. He was suddenly grabbed, slammed against a tree, and they began tying him up. The ropes dug into his body, tightening more and more until he was completely immobilized.
