Nothing is as valuable as a mother’s love, is it? When a woman gives birth, her whole life changes, and the only thing that matters is the well-being of her baby. There is nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her child, and this sad and moving story is yet another proof of that.
Shelby Ann Carter, a young woman from Wyoming, Illinois, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in January 2017. She and her boyfriend couldn’t have been happier with the new addition to their family. Everything was perfect for these new parents. But, as is often the case, things don’t always go as planned. Sadly, the life of this loving family was shattered by a devastating tragedy.
On January 30th, the mother and her baby were at Shelby’s mother’s house, where they were living, when a fire suddenly broke out. The flames spread so quickly that the entire house was filled with thick smoke, and there was no way out.
