He starred in the popular series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V. He was nearing his 27th birthday. Chance portrayed Ambrose Spellman in Sabrina the Teenage Witch: The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a reboot of the series, and Andre Anderson in Gen V, a spin-off of The Boys.
His representatives told the Hollywood Reporter that he passed away in a motorcycle accident. ‘His passion for art and his insatiable zest for life were felt by everyone who knew him, and his warmth will live on in the hearts of those he loved most,’ his representatives said in a statement.
We ask that you respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.” No other individuals were involved in the accident.
Though Chance was born in Los Angeles, California, he moved to Southampton, England, as a child. Southampton is part of Hampshire County. He later obtained both British and American citizenship and went on to act in films and television shows in both countries.
We are struggling to understand this. For those of us who knew and worked with him, Chance was always cheerful and smiling. ‘He was a dynamic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and, above all, a very kind and wonderful person,’ the show’s producer told Deadline.
And it makes no sense to write about him in the past tense. Our thoughts are with Chance’s family, and we mourn the loss of our friend and colleague. Please hug your loved ones tonight.

Chance was happy with his motorcycle in one of his recent social media posts. Earlier this month, he shared a series of photos from various places on Instagram.
In one, he was lying on a couch; in another, he took a mirror selfie. The third photo in the carousel post was an archive image of a motorcycle.
He titled it ‘Day 77. Last calm before the storm,’ accompanied by the hashtag ‘back on the road.
