The mother of the boy who was struck shared details of the tragic incident on social media, explaining that her son was crossing the pedestrian walkway with friends when a blue Skoda hit him. According to her statement, the boy hit the car’s windshield and hood and was thrown six meters before hitting the concrete. The driver fled the scene without braking, leaving the boy behind. “He hit the windshield, then the hood, and after six meters, he fell onto the concrete. The vehicle of death drove away without braking, leaving my son behind like a discarded tissue! His shoes were scattered about twenty meters away,” wrote the mother, who expressed her deep pain and outrage over the incident.

The police have immediately launched an investigation for failure to assist and reckless driving. The accident was also captured on video, but authorities are seeking additional witnesses.
