The garbage truck driver, Jermaine Jackson, was about to start collecting the trash when he heard a squeal. Every morning, early in the day, Jermaine drove his garbage truck to collect the neighborhood’s trash.
He picked up one of the trash bins, emptied it into the truck, and then began to transport the waste. But suddenly, he heard a moan coming from the container. The man realized that there was something alive inside. When he looked into the bin, he saw a dog sitting among the garbage. The dog looked at him with sad eyes, as if asking to be taken out as soon as possible.
A garbage truck employee later stated that if he hadn’t noticed the animal, it would have been crushed by the truck’s compactor. The dog was a calm and wise creature. Since it was still very early, Jermaine couldn’t go to the shelter and instead took the dog to his friend Francis Verschuur’s place until he finished his shift. Later, two volunteers from the animal shelter came to pick up the dog.
She was taken to the veterinarian, and after an examination, the doctor said that the dog had just given birth. Unfortunately, the puppies could not be found. Jermaine hoped that the shelter staff would find a good home for the friendly dog.
