When Mark first brought his future wife, Emma, to the enormous country estate, the girl was most surprised not by the luxurious rooms or the expensive cars in the driveway.
Behind the house stood a huge swimming pool surrounded by a tall metal fence.
There were crocodiles living in the water.
Mark had loved these predators since childhood, and when he became wealthy, he obtained all the necessary permits and built a special pool for them right on his property. He fed the animals himself, knew every one of them, and constantly joked that he trusted his crocodiles far more than he trusted people.

A few days later, Mark gathered his three guards.
“Emma must disappear tonight.”

The man’s expression changed instantly.
He suddenly looked at the sack.
“Then who is in there?”
Selena also jumped up from her chair. At that moment, the sound of cars could be heard outside the gates of the house. A few seconds later, bright headlights illuminated the yard. One of the guards slowly stepped away from Mark.
